THRUST INTO an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow feels the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost sailors led by his old nemesis, the evil Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle. Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it, he must forge an uneasy alliance with a brilliant and beautiful astronomer and a headstrong young man in the British navy.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is an American fantasy film, and the fifth instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. The film is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg from a script by Jeff Nathanson. Academy Award nominee Johnny Depp, Kevin McNally and Geoffrey Rush reprise their roles as Jack Sparrow, Joshamee Gibbs and Hector Barbossa, respective­ly. The film also stars Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario, and features the returns of Orlando Bloom and Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann respective­ly, following their absence from the fourth instalment, On Stranger Tides.
