“Well, yeah, I would, I trust them enough for them to know work time is work time, and playtime is playtime. “Short notice can’t work. If we were planning this for a long time, then it would be rude to cancel on them, so my aunt would have to understand, I guess.” (Kelly, 16)

“Well, to tell the truth, I am a family person, so I’d simply just ask my friends to ‘rain check’ the dinner. I’m not saying in all cases family comes first, but blood is thicker than water so, yeah, aunt’s dinner it is.” (Kelahn, 18)

It’s movie day and you and your best friend have been itching to see a movie, from the first trailer you guys saw, but little does she know that you went ahead and watched it online. Would you rather watch the same movie again at the cinema with her, and act like it’s the first time you are seeing it, or do you come clean and go through it with her, knowing that she has been wanting to watch it with you?

“Well, it would be fun to see her reaction to scenes I have already seen. Pretending just to make her happy seems like something I would do, especially as I betrayed her and watched it without her.” (Shannae, 19)

“I would confess, no doubt. For one, my conscience would kill me (LOL) and I’m also bad at faking, so he’d see right through me, without question.” (Shanice, 19)
