THE GENESIS of ARC was to provide basic roofing materials to the domestic market. Twentyone years later, the company is proud to be the premier manufacturer and distributor of building materials in Jamaica. Our continued growth has been fuelled primarily by our loyal customers, suppliers, other stakeholders and our committed staff.

Over the years, we have employed global best practices, innovative techniques and alternative sources of energy to optimise operational efficiencies and maintain superior product quality. These initiatives have contributed to ARC being the leading manufacturer of building materials. These include chain-link fencing, common wire nails, binding wire, quarter wire, hurricane straps, fabric mesh, metal roofing tiles, metal roofing sheets (zinc) and treated lumber. In addition, ARC is also a major distributor of cement, PVC, ply-forms, lumber and steel-based products.

This particular anniversary is of importance not only because of the significant progress and successful diversification of our products, but also the collective reflection of the trajectory of the business. We remain committed ‘to strive for a strong correlation between economic prosperity and improved social conditions for a contemporary Jamaican society’.
