This is feedback to the story ‘The Bench prevails – Judges to get their money by month end; $16m new yearly salary for chief justice (Wednesday, June 21).

What are these judges getting paid for? Every person who has money and breaks the law walks free. All of them need to be sent home. – Del Brown

What about all those people who haven’t been paid for months? They don’t have money for lawyers to fight for their rights. Government is always rubbing salt in people’s wounds. – Katty Lee

Teachers, firemen, police, nurses and garbage collectors have to strike for the smallest of increases. Such persons’ annual salary is a shame to mention. – Kaydian Batchan

They deserve it. People should look at the system itself with so little judges and more crimes. How do you expect the turnover rate to be better when the work laid has been increased exponentia­lly?
