It will take place on August 24 starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Hope Botanical Gardens in St Andrew and is geared towards assisting children aged 10-17 years with their back-to-school needs.

According to Reverend Courtney Faulknor, who heads NonGeographic Formations No.2, “Parents will be able to leave their children for the day, knowing that we will take care of them and provide them with the mental, spiritual and physical support they will need to take on the challenges of the new school term.”

He added: “We understand the nature and scope of the work of the police and recognise the importance of providing the additional support they require to tend to the needs of our youth and serve, protect and reassure all citizens.”

The attendees will also be engaged in stimulating discussions. Parents who are interested in having their children attend are asked to register them by 12:00 noon today.
