WE KNOW the school year is well under way, that means assignment­s, projects, and examinatio­ns are only a blink away. So what mindset do you have to get them all completed; in other words, what type of student are you?

1. When you are home, what are your nightly activities? A. Ensure all your school-related assignment­s are completed. B. Social media, then try to have the assignment­s completed when it’s almost bedtime. C. Social media, games, visit friends, and then sleep.

2. Do you adhere to school rules? A. Yes B. Sometimes C. Nope

3. How popular are you? A. 1,000+ followers on social media. B. 3,000+ followers on social media. C. 4,000+ followers on social media.

4. What does your diet look like? A. Always balanced. B. Sometimes balanced. C. Never balanced.

5. Does your bagpack makes your back hurt? A. Yes B. Sometimes C. Nope

6. Are you a teacher’s pet? A. Yes B. Sometime C. Nope

7. Are your parents always at school? A. yes B. Sometimes C. Nope

Mostly As: You’re a perfect student

If you have seen yourself selecting the A option a lot, it means you perfect student. You ensure that you make the most of your time while at school, and even at home. You also surround yourself with the necessitie­s that help to narrate the path of success for you. Keep it up.

Mostly Bs: You’re a average student.

If you have seen yourself selecting the B option a lot, it means you’re an average student, you try to get the work done. You don’t utilise the opportunit­ies you have until it’s almost the deadline, so you then end up with not completing as much as you could have. You try to surround yourself with successful factors but sometimes gets distracted, resulting in unsuccessf­ul moments. Work on getting these qualities perfect and you will see the improvemen­t in your work ethic.

Mostly Cs: You are a procrastin­ator

If you have seen yourself selecting the C option a lot, you procrastin­ate a lot. You always waste your time, which result in not getting any work done. You are easily distracted, so you lose sight of what is important in aiding you with having a successful school year. You start to seek a lot of attention to make up for these qualities, which distracts you even more, as more of your time now goes into getting popular. If you’re a procrastin­ator, you need to go back to the drawing board and eliminate irrelevant activities which are hindering you from having a successful school

year.
