Unbeatable sloppy service at ATL Auto

-

THE EDITOR, Sir: IT SEEMS I’ve made a deal with the devil and my iniquity is being recompensed.

Since deciding to purchase a vehicle at ATL Automotive, the road has been nothing but hell — one crisis after another in never-ending retribution.

From making a deposit on a phantom vehicle to prices being changed at various steps along the way, to getting two different licence plates on the vehicle and someone else’s documents — with another person gone home with mine — among other issues, the service could not have been worse.

After dodging so many potholes and closing the deal with the vehicle, it was time for the rubber to hit the road — literally. Apparently, ATL had outfitted the vehicle with an aftermarket body kit for aesthetics at an auto show, with little care for practicality. It was seemingly not manufactured to the strict quality standards Honda is known for to ensure the exact fit, precise attachment and operation. Within 24 hours, after a trip on the North-South Highway, it was falling apart.

Not only was the two-sided tape no match for the wind and the heat, but the bumper was poorly designed as the exhaust sends heat directly into the plastic, crimping it for a most unsightly appearance and possibly creating a safety hazard.

It is extremely disappointing that a customer could be made to suffer so much from doing business with what was seemingly a reputable company.

ATL is truly unbeatable in its sloppy service. DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER
