A loyal customer gives thanks for his favourite pharmacy

-

BARON JOHNSON of Braco, Trelawny, is one of the many loyal and satisfied clients of New Duncans Pharmacy since its was opened in 2014. The establishment of the pharmacy in the community of Duncans was like a breath of fresh air, as prior to that, the nearest pharmacy was in Discovery Bay, approximately 20 miles away from where Johnson lives.

He enjoys his weekly visits to what he described as his favourite pharmacy, as he not only fills prescriptions for himself and his 91-year-old father, but also enjoys the camaraderie that exists with the owners, Lucien and Simone Burgess Black.

WARM RELATIONSHIPS

One of the bonuses of having a pharmacy like New Duncans in a rural area is that the environment fosters personal and warm relationships between customers and proprietors, and this Johnson highly appreciates.

“They (the Blacks) are very, very nice people, so when I go there, I don’t just fill my prescription and leave. They find the time to talk to me, and sometimes we have a good laugh,” Johnson said.

He cited another reason for his deep connection and loyalty to New Duncans Pharmacy.

“If I don’t have enough money, or as what happened on two occasions, I forgot to take my wallet with me, they gave me my items anyway and I went back later and paid them.”

He said the pharmacy is a good place to do business as the prices and customer service are excellent. He encourages customers from the surrounding areas to make New Duncans Pharmacy their choice.
