A NEW opportunity awaits model hopefuls from Pulse, when scouts from Londonbased Select model agency arrives in the island this weekend.

Hannah Sneath and Talisa Carling will be on the island to select new faces from the Pulse stable to join their roster of models at one of London’s top agencies. Pulse and Select have had a long history. The agency has represented Pulse stars such as Nadine Willis, Jaunel McKenzie in the early to mid-2000s. Today they still represents Oraine Barrett and Nell Robinson.

The partnership between the two have been very successful over the years, with all four Pulse international models scoring major editorials and runway bookings in the big fashion markets (London, New York, Milan and Paris). Nadine Willis’ international career began with a bang when she landed the game-changing French Vogue editorial with Mario Testino shooting Willis, who was selected by Tom Ford, then creative director at Gucci for the brand’s Fall campaign. Jaunel McKenzie enjoyed record-breaking designer runway shows for the industry’s best, season after sand season, and Oraine Barrett and Nell Robinson continue to enjoy excellent bookings with Select.

Sneath is excited about her upcoming trip to the island, noting, “I can’t wait to get there and meet the new set of stars. We are looking forward to working with Nell Robinson Nadine Wilks in Iman’s Beauty of Colour.

the new talent to develop their international career.” Pulse sees this collaboration as a winning formula. “We have had excellent results from our collaboration with Select, and we will continue in this vein. We are looking forward to their selection, and whoever gets chosen, we are confident will do well,” says Kingsley Cooper, chairman of Pulse Agency. The lucky, young international model in the making will likely get a chance to hit the runways of London Fashion Week, which begins in February. Auditions are still open for young hopefuls who wish to be considered for the model search, which takes place tomorrow at the agency’s Trafalgar Road location.
