The retiree, who resides in New Market, St Elizabeth, is a friend and client of Cawley’s Pharmacy spanning several years from when the pharmacy was located in New Market. Even though Griffin now has to travel approximately seven miles to fill his prescriptions, the distance, he said, is no deterrent to him.
Griffin’s loyalty is securely cemented in Cawley’s Pharmacy because he enjoys the camaraderie shared with proprietor Hartley Cawley.
“He takes the time to explain to me any medication that is prescribed and makes it as simple as possible. If I have any problems I can always talk to him and if he can, he helps. This is refreshing. He is a good person to talk to; always smiling and ready to help,” Griffin said. He is also warmed by the fact that if he gets a prescription that is hard to get, Cawley’s Pharmacy will source it for him and will make recommendations where necessary. The senior citizen is proud to call Cawley’s Pharmacy “his pharmacy”, and hopes to continue doing business with them for a very long time.
