NCB QUISK makes refreshing deal with Island Grill

-

NCB QUISK has partnered with Island Grill to give customers a refreshing drink this (still) new year. The promotion, which runs until March 31, 2018, gives Island Grill customers who use NCB QUISK to pay for their meals a complementary REFRESHER drink.

NCB’s Gregory Peart, sales and relationship manager, said that the bank’s partnership with Island Grill is long-standing, as the restaurant chain was one of the first merchants to start utilising the mobile money solution.

In explaining the idea behind the partnership, Peart stated that the promotion was born out of NCB’s desire to give customers tangible value for their continued support, and to establish NCB QUISK as top of mind in the mobile money space.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to give back to our customers and thank them for their continued support,” he said.

NCB QUISK is an electronic payment solution which allows customers to make purchases and conduct other transactions using their mobile phones. The technology allows any Jamaican with a mobile number on any network to securely access their money quickly and easily without needing cash, cards, or even the phone.

“The sign-up process is very easy and requires minimal personal information. The greatest benefit is that the application offers users a great sense of convenience and security by allowing them to make transactions without the need for cash, card or even their phone, for that matter,” Peart said.

The mobile money solution, which leverages the bank’s existing point-of-sale infrastructure works on any network carrier across the island and is accessible using any mobile phone.

Customers can transfer and receive funds from family and friends, pay participating merchants, add funds using NCB iABMs, and withdraw money at any NCB ABM whether or not their phone is on-hand, as all they need to remember are their 10-digit mobile number and sixdigit PIN.

In the near future, the bank will roll out new features including bill payments and phone top-up capabilities.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to give back to our customers and thank them for their continued support.”
