KEMAL BROWN, former Scotiabank vision achiever, and founder and CEO of Digita Global, says he would definitely recommend the programme to all entreprene­urs who want to learn sound principles for elevating their businesses.

The key takeaways for Brown included learning to manage the numbers and creating good team dynamics by ensuring the right people are in your company.

“Building the capacit y of Sam’s is vital for the continued economic growth of Jamaica,” said Audrey Tugwell Henry, vice-president – retail, at Scotiabank.

“Our Scotiabank Vision Achiever programme has been playing an important role in enhancing the capacity of business persons across the island as they become exposed to optimum business practices.”

■ Small and medium-sized enterprise­s interested in registerin­g should sign up by March 2.

■ To qualify, applicants must be a sole proprietor, or in partnershi­p or from a limited liability company that has been in business for more than two years with an annual turnover or sales of US$100,000 in the last fiscal year.

■ Applicants must be over 21 years old with a good credit history.
