Trump’s mandate from God
EZEKIEL 33:6 says, “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’” (Read also verse 3).
The responsibility of spiritual advisers is that they must be equipped to have insight to see, warn and speak truth, regardless of who they advise. Just like Daniel, they must understand times and seasons and must understand that it is not about them, but about accomplishing the f ulfilment of God’s purpose in every area. They must keep their leaders in line and in office. Always give God’s view, regardless of the cost. The obedience of a nation directly affects the prosperity of that nation. ONE OF the clear mandates for which God placed Trump in position is to be a voice for the poor, the fatherless, widowed, voiceless, and downtrodden, and that includes the illegal aliens (Proverbs 31: 8 - 9). Ruth, Naomi, Abraham and Sarah were also aliens; even Jesus was once an alien. The platform on which President Trump ran for office is not the purpose/platform for which God allowed him to be in office. He was given supernatural favour and God wants him to extend that favour to others.
The Lord wants President Trump to rebuild the family, because the familial infrastructure was broken down by previous administrations and the importance of its stability forgotten. Family is, after all, the first line of government. God wants him to be like Nehemiah and for his focus to be on building the spiritual wall, not necessarily a physical wall. When the spiritual walls of a
nation have been broken down, the spiritual borders are open to letting every and anything attack the nation. Undoubtedly, the enemy has been targeting the nation, mainly because of the purpose of the nation – particularly regarding humanitarian service and the freedom it represents, as is stated in the Declaration of Independence – “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
ENEMY DIVIDES NATION
The very currency has been inscribed with the words ‘In God We Trust ’. The enemy has infiltrated the gates over the years (Nehemiah ) – the Fish Gate, Refuse Gate, Fountain Gate, Valley Gate, Old Gate, Horse Gate and Sheep Gate, to name a few; and today, each of them is symbolic, not literal.
The enemy has infiltrated and divided the nation. However, the enemy cannot divide a nation from without, that can only happen from within; and so, racism, classism and genderrelated issues have become the order of the day.
Many other nations envy the level of freedom that exists in the United States; meanwhile, the enemy has caused the nation’s focus to shift as they continue to divide. So, the Church has been weakened and I am quite sure that many immigrants were even praying for this president to come in and make changes in their favour.
