Regency Carnival to wrap Road March 2018
ON ROAD March Day, April 8, the Jamaica Carnival experience will be amplified by the entrance of Regency Carnival on to the scene. The event is set to bring an exciting close to road march and redesign the traditional carnival wrap party, marrying carnival revelry and luxury.
Regency Carnival, dubbed ‘The Last Lap in Luxur y ’, will take place at 16 Waterloo Road opposite Terra Nova Hotel from 12 noon-10 p.m., located right there on the traditional road march route.
The drink-inclusive event, will feature DJ Courtney, Chromatic Live, DJ Rio, Coppershot and a number of special guest performances.

“Every year, revellers are given the same kind of close to carnival. This year, we would like to up the ante somewhat to include a bit more luxury while maintaining the high energy that has been going all season long. After a long day on the road, you really need that ultimatei n c l u s i ve p a r t y e x p e r i e n ce,” said Christelle Harris.
Patrons will choose from a wide variety of food options catered by Terra Nova Hotel from Grill King ribs, wings, and hamburgers; from Little Italy — assorted chicken, pork and veggie pasta, Jamaica Mi Crazycurried goat, jerk chicken, jerk pork, rice and roti and for Detox - mannish water and chicken soup by Soup King.
“We’ve been very careful in pulling together the menu for our patrons. We’ve covered as many food options as possible to make sure no one is excluded. Terra Nova will do most of our catering on the day of the event, so everything is fresh. Regency Carnival will be one of the most memorable events this season, and the food, drinks, ambiance and music is all a part of that,” added Harris.
