JMMB empowers persons to achieve financial success
THE JAMAICA Money Market Brokers (JMMB) Group hosted the third investor forum in its series of public-education events designed to empower and educate the investing public about financial management.
The forum, which was open to the public free of cost, was held last week Wednesday at Jewel Dunn’s River Beach and Spa Resort, Ocho Rios, St Ann.
During the forum, JMMB’s financial experts explored a range of topics, including retirement planning, budgeting, wealth accumulation, investment opportunities, and debt management within the current macroeconomic climate.
In keeping with the event’s theme, ‘Stepping into Your Greatness: Achieving Financial Success’, the forum sought to empower the investing public to be better equipped to manage their finances and understand how current economic trends impact their investment opportunities and achievement of their life goals.
The occasion was also used to offer practical tools and share financial opportunities geared towards providing the attendees with the requisite skills and knowledge they need to achieve financial freedom and their goals.
Michelle Sinclair-Doyley, manager, client financial education at JMMB, said the company tailored the event to provide holistic financial advice that can help the attendees to better navigate their financial journey and plan their future while equipping potential investors to take advantage of market opportunities in the current macroeconomic environment. “We hope that persons will be more empowered and begin to take steps towards achieving their financial success. We also anticipate that persons will recognise where they have financial gaps that need to be addressed or build on the solid foundation they already have in place with a financial partner so that they can realise their goals,” she added.
