Partnership fostered for economic empowerment and nation building
THE BOB Marley Foundation recently partnered with internet Income Jamaica to hold an online entrepreneurship workshop.
The nine entrepreneurs from inner city communities, who participated in the comprehensive one day boot camp, are now equipped with the information and technology to create new income-earning opportunities.
Internet Income Jamaica is one of the nation’s leading online training company that uses their proven training system to teach online entrepreneurship. The goal is to transform the country’s socio-economic landscape, by using technology to facilitate the economic empowerment of individuals and to generate new avenues of earning and employment.
The curriculum, when completed, enables participants to create wealth from anywhere, by tapping into the now easily accessible global marketplace. All that participants need is a computer, Internet connection and a Payoneer card to take advantage of the opportunity to work and earn online. Training is carried out through courses and webinars that can be accessed globally using the Internet.
ENGAGING AND INFORMATIVE
The one-day boot camp, hosted by the Bob Marley Foundation, was very engaging and informative and left participants with a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment, and looking forward to further developing their newly learned skills to create new openings for earning an income and becoming successful ‘online freelancers’.
