Shearer, announces that a meeting of trade ministers of Commonweal­th Caribbean countries will be held in Jamaica on Friday, May 19, 1967, to discuss problems that could arise if Britain is accepted into the European Common Market (ECM). The proposal for this meeting was made by Shearer last week Thursday, May 4, 1967 when he spoke to the prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Eric Williams; the prime minister of Guyana, Forbes Burnham; the prime minister of Barbados, Errol Barrow, and the chief minister of British Honduras, George Price. McKenley gives notice of the following resolution: “Whereas there is still a number of employers who do not subscribe to the establishm­ent and functionin­g of proper industrial relations procedures, and whereas in order to maintain and improve the rapid rate of growth in the economy, it is essential for the establishm­ent of a proper code of behavior in the employer-employee relationsh­ip, be it resolved that this honourable House recommends that a proper code of ethics to be followed by employers and trade unions in settling their difference­s be set up by the Ministry of Labour and National Insurance.” 1990:in The semi-final matches
