RadioShack opens new store in Kingston
ON THE heels of the opening of its second store in Bogue, Fairview, RadioShack, Jamaica’s new electronic store, opened its third store in the Mall Plaza, Constant Spring Road, on Saturday, May 19.
Kingstonians now have the latest in technology at their fingertips. The new RadioShack store offers a wide range of products, including recreational drones, tablets, Bluetooth speakers, wireless headphones, smart and LED TVs, Android boxes, Android phones and other accessories. Additionally, the chain also offers affordable and flexible financing plans to its customers.
“We’re really excited about this new addition to our RadioShack family. Our customers will be really pleased with the space. Not only is it modern and trendy, we’ve tried to capture the unique tastes of our customers by outfitting each area with our wide range of products. This is a space for gadget lovers; our knowledgeable team [members] are ready to answer all gadget-related questions,” explained Jacqueline Edwards-Locke, brand manager for RadioShack.
The highly anticipated opening featured a host of exciting activities, including RadioShack prize giveaways, token gifts and much more.
RadioShack is one of the brands under the Unicomer Group, which recently opened six similar RadioShack stores in Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. RadioShack’s entrance into the Jamaican market is a unique situation, as this is the first instance of an international technology company establishing a physical space in the island.
