What is eczema?

Not every itchy skin disorder is eczema. Eczema is an inflammation of the skin which causes redness, bumps, water blebs, flaking, or scaling and thickened skin. Eczema, which is also known as dermatitis, can occur on different parts of the skin, in specific age groups or with certain triggers.
