- Carl Gilchrist Hospitality Jamaica Writer

SCORES OF children of workers at Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios turned out last Saturday to enjoy the hotel’s treat in celebration of Child Month.

The children, aged four to 12 years old, enjoyed a full day of activities such as arts and crafts (including tie and dye), face painting, ball games and bounceabout.

They were also treated to performances by a contortionist and enjoyed all their favourite snacks - chicken and chips, pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy.

Staff members were extremely delighted for the move, which was organised by the hotel’s Human Resource Department.

“I think it’s an amazing thing, and it’s nice for them to consider our children for Child Month,” said Sherene McGhie,
