fail to furnish statutory declarations of assets and liabilities by the March 31 deadline in 1977, and eight are still outstanding at December 31, 1977. This is disclosed in the report of the integrity Commission appointed under the Parliament (integrity of Members) act for 1977, which is tabled in the House of Representatives. Under the provisions of the act, parliamentarians are required to furnish their statutory declarations, as at December 31 1976, by March 31, 1977; but 55 of them failed to meet the deadline, the report says.
