A customer-first business providing meaningful service

-

CONGRATULATIONS TO the management and staff of Meadowrest Memorial Gardens on the facility’s 23rd anniversary. I am particularly proud of this milestone and what it represents. Meadowrest operates a customer-first business which is a powerful and meaningful service to offer persons going through very sad times. Meeting customers’ needs is, of course, an imperative for any business. However, given the emotional burden faced by persons putting their loved ones to rest, Meadowrest’s focus on service excellence takes on far greater value. I wish to congratulate the team at Meadowrest for its big wins, including the fact that the facility continues to be the only cemetery in Jamaica that, apart from its beautiful setting, provides grief counselling to clients dealing with the loss of loved ones. Meadowrest is also now able to offer its clients the option of livestreaming ceremonies which take place on site so that loved ones who cannot travel to the location can still feel part of the event. Meadowrest has always been responsive to the needs of its customers. In fact, thoughtful, customer-first service delivery has given Meadowrest a competitive advantage in the market, but it also serves a higher purpose. By providing compassionate service to sorrowful loved ones, Meadowrest does its Christian duty of being an agent for the Lord.

Psalm 34:18 tells us, “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” So, the business of Meadowrest, delivered in the way it is, is the Lord’s business, and of that I am truly proud.

Congratulations again to the team, and all the very best for the future. COURTNEY CAMPBELL
