CoWork JA – the place to create

-

CENTRALLY LOCATED in Post Office Mall in Liguanea, CoWork JA is now officially open for business after some three years of planning and they are ready to change the way Jamaicans think about creating and working.

Coworking has become popular around the world; it is collaborative, flexible, solves the problem of isolation that many entrepreneurs and freelancers feel while working from home, and offers resources that would be otherwise prohibitively expensive.

“It’s not just about a space to finish a business plan or catch up on emails. We’re here to inspire – some of the most successful companies in the world were created out of complete coincidence, and we’re here to make that coincidence a little more likely,” said CoWork JA founder Tara Playfair-Scott.

It seems that people agree. The CoWork JA’s office options were sold out before the official launch and there’s now a waiting list. In addition to the office option, the space also offers hot desk memberships.

Playfair-Scott is running a new member special for $20,000 (plus GCT) per month and that comes with a conference room and connectivity cube time. They even have an app to allow you to book or reserve space on the go.

CoWork JA’s well-equipped space offers commercial broadband, Smart TV conference rooms, teleconferencing and ISP facilities, document printing, copying and faxing capabilities, and more.

Playfair-Scott said members of the CoWork JA community have secure, keycard access to the space 24/7 “to get productive whenever suits them best – we realise not everyone works ninefive and productivity isn’t bound by time”.

CoWork JA can be found online at www.coworkja.com, or give them a call at 876-324WORK (9675).
