FUEL UP AND WIN

RUBiS delivers an early Christmas

-

RUBIS ENERGY Jamaica Limited (RUBiS) has delivered an early Christmas for lucky Jamaicans who won allexpense paid Caribbean cruises for two, through its ‘Fuel Up and Cruise’ promotion.

The five Caribbean cruise winners – Michelle Moses, Conroy Crosdale, Henry Thomas, Audrey Terrelonge and Jhoni Leslie – were announced during a weekly prize draw between October 17 and November 14.

Week two winner Conroy Crosdale said it was like a prayer was answered for him to ring in his 50th birthday with a Caribbean cruise for him and his wife.

“I have done a little bit of travelling here and there, but never a cruise. So I had been planning for some time to go on one for my 50th birthday. It was like music to my ears when I learnt about the RUBiS promotion. I made sure that every time I fuelled up to spend at least $2,500 to qualify, and I kept all my ticket entries,” Crosdale said.

RUBiS, along with Total Travel Services, who arranged the ‘no visa required’ Cuban Fusion cruise excursion, ensured that Crosdale was scheduled to be on the high seas from March 26 through to April 2, as his birthday falls on April 1.

“We were delighted for Mr Crosdale, and happy to have helped to answer his prayer in time for Christmas. All the cruises awarded include accommodation, entertainment, port charges, gratuities, meals and drinks. In addition, RUBiS is also covering departure tax and pocket money for off-shore excursions,” said RUBiS Managing Director Alain Carreau.

Crosdale, the four other weekly prize winners and their partners will depart from Montego Bay, Jamaica, and cruise for seven nights and eight days, stopping at George Town, Grand Cayman; Havana, Cuba; and Cozumel, Mexico; before returning to Montego Bay.

St Ann-based week three winner Henry Thomas was elated by the news. “Them always give me good-quality gas,” shared Thomas in his reaction. Meanwhile, a very candid Jhoni Leslie, who received his news of good tidings during week five of the promotion, admitted that it paid to shop at RUBiS: “For me, RUBiS is actually the best value. That’s why I mostly go there.”

Throughout the promotion period, the RUBiS Fuel up and Cruise promotion also offered contest participants daily and weekly prizes, courtesy of KFC, MegaMart and Digicel.

A total of 1,040 prizes were given away, consisting of Digicel instant airtime credit, 20 each day; 35 weekly prizes amassing 175 KFC Meal Deals; and two weekly $50,000 shopping sprees from MegaMart over the five weeks. In addition, each week two winners
