AIM brings cheer to children’s homes
EIGHT CHILDREN’S homes across the island have received assistance from AIM Financial Corporation Limited in its first major charity event.
The institutions were selected for assistance in commemoration of the company’s eight branch offices.
The event, launched as ‘AIM Christmas Cheer’, was coordinated to ensure that the company’s broadened efforts would be harmonised with the reason for the event.

The undertaking was supported by the company’s employees and past and present customers, who donated gifts of cash and kind for delivery to the children at the selected homes.
The spread of AIM Christmas Cheer got under way with staff members providing refreshments, entertainment and a cheque for $25,000 to each of the selected homes
CEO of AIM Financial Orrett Richards said the initiative was considered a part of AIM Financial’s corporate responsibility, as the company saw it fitting to play a tangible and meaningful part in supporting the less fortunate in our society, especially at this time of the year.
The facilities to benefit are the St Andrew Parish Church Home for Girls (Corporate Area), the Jamaica National Children’s Home (Corporate Area), Strathmore Gardens Child Care Facility (St Catherine), Summerfield, Girls’ Home (Clarendon), St John Bosco Boys Home (Manchester), Pringles Children’s Home (St Ann), Sunbeam Boys Home (St Catherine) and the Annie Dawson Home for Girls (St Andrew).
