Devon House to come alive with all-inclusive comedy show

- Shereita Grizzle/Gleaner Writer

LEGACY COMEDY and Music Show is shaping up to be one not to be missed, according to its organiser, Kurt Legacy. The lawns of Devon House are set to come alive tomorrow as they serve up an unforgettable all-inclusive experience.

Speaking with The Gleaner, the artiste/promoter explained that aside from a comedy show that will boast some of the best local and international talent, patrons will also be treated to a musical show and an evening of food and drinks.

“This show is about putting the best of everything together.

People have seen

Chris ‘Johnny’

Daley, Majah

Hype or Ity and Fancy

Cat on other shows before, but this show will not just be about seeing these acts on stage, it’s also about having great food in a great space with drinks being served all night, so it will be a different entertainment experience than what you’re used to seeing in Jamaica,” he said. He added, “It’s a high-calibre event where we will be putting everything that people would want to see at a show together in one space, in one night. You’ll be outside under the stars; it will be great.”

An up-and-coming entertainer, Legacy has released songs Make Money, Perfect Love,

Xstasy, and All My Love’s for You. Most of his songs may be relatively unknown to the ordinary Jamaican, but he is hoping to change that, stating, “I’m all about building on my brand and my legacy. I consider myself a growing mogul, there are a lot of businesses that I have. As a new artiste coming out, you have to go out there and get what you want, and one of the ways I’m going to do that is to make myself known through other means. Instead of touring Jamaica as a new artiste, I want to tour Jamaica through other innovations that will get people to know me. If people see me out there like this, they will want to know more about me.”

Booked for the show are major acts Majah Hype, Ity and Fancy Cat, Deno Crazy, and Christopher ‘Johnny’ Daley.

The show is expected to get under way at 8 p.m.
