ZIMI SEH BRUNCH GREAT VIBE AND GOOD FOOD

- Latara Boodie/Gleaner Writer latara.boodie@gleanerjm.com

LAST SUNDAY, fashionistas and trendy gents flocked to the Hope Botanical Gardens for the launch of the ‘Zimi’ series – the premium allinclusive Zimi Seh Brunch. Though off to a slow start, the brunch quickly picked up as local DJs Laing D, Creep Chormatic, DJ Franco and DJ Nicco created a euphoric vibe that had the crowd raving. The brunch featured a delectable array of favourites, ranging from ‘yaahdie’ to continental delights. Long queues were seen as persons waited patiently to try the variety of pasta and witness the making of mouthwatering crêpes at the live crêpe station.

“We just want to thank everyone who came out to have a good time with us at Zimi Seh Brunch. There is a lot more to come throughout the year, so keep a lookout for the rest of the series,” said director of Zimi Entertainment Nicholas ‘Zimi’ Mahfood, who was kept very busy as he dashed throughout the party to ensure it was operating smoothly.

From soca to dancehall, mixed with a few throwback hiphop tracks, Zimi Seh Brunch appealed to everyone as they sipped on chilled Heineken to cool down from the mid-afternoon sun. “We are very pleased with the turnout,” said Zimi Entertainment director Glen-Ross McDonald as he pointed to the venue, which was at its full capacity. The possibility of moving to a larger location may be in the works as the young entertainment moguls set to expand their party experience.

Several patrons were seen indulging in medical marijuana products distributed by Epican Jamaica, who made it their mission to educate persons about the use and benefits of marijuana as they enjoyed the festivities at the brunch. “We have to give a special big-up to our sponsors, Stewart’s Auto Group, Red Bull Jamaica, Tru-Juice, Ironade, Pasta Xpress, KFC, Walkerswood, Happy Ice, Hawkeye, and Main Event, for supporting this our event,” said Mahfood.

The Zimi Seh Brunch was a big hit as patrons continued to party way beyond sunset and were in no hurry to leave. To keep up with Zimi Entertainment, view @zimient on Instagram.
