We are proud to be alumni of Mico

- Dr MERRIT B. HENRY President MOSA

THE MICO University College Alumni Association (MOSA) inaugural Alumni Week will be held February 24 to March 3, 2019 under the theme; ‘Celebrating MOSA: Past Present and Future.’ This event will bring together alumni whose shared experiences connect us all in a very special way.

Over a period of 97 years, the association has been connected with alumni who have made and continue to make significant contributions in all sectors of society locally and internationally. We are proud to be alumni of an institution which has a rich history in the contribution it has made to education and, by extension, the development of human resources for Jamaica, and the rest of the world.

In recent times, the major goal of the association has been to assist The Mico in its thrust to gain university status. This involves upgrading of its facilities and introduction of services, which will help the college to be more student-centred and relevant in its offerings and, therefore, meeting the needs of the 21st-century workplace. Additionally, these contributions will assist Jamaica to achieve its vision for 2030, ‘to make Jamaica the place of choice to live, work, raise families and do business.’

During this inaugural event, I invite you as alumni to participate in the various activities, some of which will enable you to visit the campus, interact with staff and students as well as learn more about how you can actively participate in the work of the association and the development of this noble institution, The Mico.

You are welcomed to visit the MOSA Secretariat on campus at the Kelvin Lodge, where a warm reception awaits you.
