STARTING WITH only five advisors and one administrative staff, the team has grown to 54 advisers and nine administrative staff, making a total staff complement of 63. In 2004, only one branch existed. Today, there are three branches – two in Kingston and one located in the Fairview business district of Montego Bay. Our business partners including the two major local life companies, Sagicor and Guardian, and several overseas ‘A-rated’ companies.

The company’s CEO, A. Patrick Lawe, is a veteran insurance professional who had an illustrious 27-year career with Life of Jamaica (now Sagicor) and left as senior branch manager. He runs the organisation with his brother Michael, who joined Lawe Insurance Brokers three and a half years ago after over 40 years of service with Sagicor and retiring as senior branch manager.

One of the major strengths that Lawe Insurance Brokers offers to the public is its ability to provide a wide range of products and services.

As the first company in Jamaica to offer Financial Services Commission-approved major international health insurance, Lawe Insurance Brokers launched the first series of such policies through Lloyd’s of London in the early 2000s.
