X-RAYS:

RadiologyWest is proud to be offering completely digital X-rays at both locations. Its GWest office is also currently set up with technology for full trauma and limited mobility cases.

MAMMOGRAPHY:

Mammography at Radiology West became digital using Fuji computed radiography technology, which is designed specifically for mammography and used only for mammography, unlike other CR mammography systems on the market. Currently, mammography is offered at the GWest location.

COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY (CT):

Radiology West offers CT scans at both locations, both equipped with 64-slice CT machines. These machines are fitted with dual-head pressure injectors, offering the ability to do just about any study done in the developed world. These include coronary artery angiograms and CT angiograms, amongst others.

ULTRASONOGRAPHY:

In an attempt to keep up with the demand, Radiology West now has four dedicated ultrasound rooms across both locations, all having the capacity to do various types of ultrasound examinations. These include specialty imaging such as dopplers, localisations, biopsies and drainages.

FLUOROSCOPY/ C-ARM:

Real time imaging can be done using our fluoroscopic imaging modality that is offered at both locations. These real-time studies aid not only in the production of images or small movie clips. The machines at both locations are fully digital and able to perform a wide variety of interventional procedures. The rooms are also equipped with ultrasound machines that aid in some of these special procedures.
