The Caribbean Alternative Investment Association, CARAIA, which was incorporated in July 2019, had its official launch on November 15, 2019, hosted by the Development Bank of Jamaica, DBJ. The association, which has 16 founding members, now forms part of the venture capital ecosystem developed by DBJ, with technical assistance from the Inter-American Development Bank’s Multilateral Investment Fund.
