Kool Kidz unveils new, healthier formulation

KOOL KIDZ drink brand has revised its recipes to reduce its sugar levels as well as fortify its vitamin composition. The brand, formally FRUTA Kool Kidz, has also dropped its trademark FRUTA logo on its new packaging. Boasting VitaKool, a blend of vitamins A, C and E, the 62% less sugar formula is the perfect mix of taste and added nutrients. Packing benefits ranging from gum health, boosted immune responses and powerful antioxidants to growth and development, the improved Kool Kidz offers consumers a nutrient dense alternative.

“CERTAINLY, THE health and eating habits of our children are a major concern. We have a responsibility to ensure that they are given the best possible chance at a healthy life. Not only does the new reduced sugar formula minimize the risk of childhood obesity and diabetes, but it will improve the quality of life for children that are sensitive to sugary drinks,” explained Derrick Cotterel, chairman Derrimon Trading Co.

All flavours of the Kool Kidz product line are infused with VitaKool, the brand’s signature combination of powerhouse vitamins A, C and E. The new recipes include 100% vitamin C, and 16% vitamin A and E, crucial for the development of tissue, bone, healthy eyes, skin and gums. Vitamin E also acts as a powerful antioxidant, which protects cells against damage caused by free radicals. It is also important for the health of red blood cells.
