International credit unions donate PPEs to local body
IT WAS a flurry of activities at credit unions last week as the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL), the national association of credit unions, distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to over 2,000 staff members of its 25-member credit unions.
Each staff member received a branded mask in support of the COVID-19 protocol, under which persons are encouraged to wear masks for their protection, as well as the protection of persons doing business at credit unions.
The donation of the masks was a joint effort between JCCUL, the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions and the World Council of Credit Unions.
