NUTRITION

Horlicks is enriched with 14 vitamins and minerals; not only is it deliciously comforting, but it aids in overall nourishment. It is high in vitamins C, D, B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, niacin, biotin, calcium and zinc, and is a source of vitamin E and iron.

Vitamin C – Helps protect cells from oxidative stress, and helps your body to absorb iron.

Vitamin D – Did you know? Your body cannot produce sufficient levels of vitamin D between October and March from sunlight alone. B vitamins, such as thiamin, niacin and biotin, help the body to break down and use food to produce energy.

Vitamin B6 – Keeps nerves and your immune system healthy, plus it keeps red blood cells healthy and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Vitamin B12 – Helps makes red blood cells and keeps your nervous system healthy, helps release energy from the food we eat, and processes folic acid.

Iron – We need iron to produce healthy red blood cells and to prevent feelings of tiredness.

Folic acid– Helps the body to make new cells, helps keep our blood healthy, and is especially important during pregnancy.

Dietary fibre – Keeps you healthy by encouraging the passage of material through the digestive system. This insoluble fibre moves through your system, removing waste, toxins and materials your body doesn’t need.
