MOY HALL ESTATE COFFEE

-

AS FARMERS and producers of MOY HALL ESTATE COFFEE, Nakashka Coffee Company Limited joins in celebrating International Coffee Day with others in the industry and coffee lovers everywhere. With our strengthening brand recognition and local and global footprint as a premium reserve, true farm-to-cup, delicious coffee, there is cause to celebrate.

Moy Hall Estate is located on the St Thomas side of the Blue Mountains, where the Fletcher family owns 300 acres, 40 of which have been planted in coffee. Our farm has been in operation since 1992. The property is 3,500 to 5,500 feet above sea level, the optimal elevation for growing this coffee. The micro climate at our high elevation sets us apart as nature locks in the unique, exquisite taste from the dense beans produced as a result of the cooler, misty climate at this altitude. Ripe coffee berries are expertly harvested by hand, pulped, fermented and washed in spring water. They are then dried on raised trays.

Our brand niche is the production of 100 per cent Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee – NO BLENDING. This guarantees taste dependability and traceability of its origin. We are licensed to export Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, and to use the trademark, by JACRA. Current emphasis is on further development of our brand image and global reach.

We are proud to have Olympian Danusia Francis as our brand ambassador. Danusia had her moment of glory in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics representing Jamaica in gymnastics, even though her performance time was limited due to injury.
