Cheers to 140 and more

-

IT IS with great delight and pride that we join in the 140th celebration of the Devon House Development Limited. This establishment, for over a century, has contributed to the rich history and traditions of the country and has added much value to the tourism sector.

The property with its diverse gastronomy, wellness and cultural offerings is deserving of maintaining its place in the tourism space. As such, over the years, TPDCo dutifully managed the execution of restoration and improvements to the property. Most noteworthy is the creation of a bigger and better ice cream shop on the north lawns, which was completed in summer 2017. The north lawns now serve as a popular spot for both locals and visitors to spend quality time, and indulge in the world-renowned ‘Devon House I-Scream’.

The partnership has been mutually beneficial, and we must extend gratitude to Devon House for supporting TPDCorelated activities. Winners of the two-season TPDCo Tourism Quiz received mansion tours, and to ensure that the story of Devon House remains relevant, TPDCo included an episode of the history of the property in our children’s publication, The Adventures of Sprucey and Limey. Our story time on property was well received, and we will continue to work effortlessly to ensure that this great relic is appreciated by future generations.

We look forward to the transformation of the courtyard and even greater things for Devon House, and remain steadfast in our support to this noble establishment.
