JSE COMBINED MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE indices:
• The JSE Index advanced by 1,851.88 points (0.52%) to close at 357,899.15 points and the volume traded amounted to 186,827,923 valued at $789,529,361.67.
• The Junior Market Index advanced by 10.66 points (0.25%) to close at 4,193.43 points and the volume traded amounted to 17,734,945 valued at $68,426,189.66.
• The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,826.51 points (0.49%) to close at 372,351.61 points and the volume traded amounted to 204,562,868 valued at $857,955,551.33.
• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 1,658.74 points (0.41%) to close at 410,071.11 points and the volume traded amounted to 186,813,990 valued at $788,869,404.09.
• The JSE Select Index declined by 7.28 points (0.08%) to close at 9,099.79 points and the volume traded amounted to 1,079,496 valued at $39,738,270.86.
• The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 6.54 points (3.12%) to close at 216.21 points and the volume traded amounted to 3,235,927 valued at $55,292.16.
• The JSE Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.64 points (1.12%) to close at 57.59 points and the volume traded amounted to 13,932 valued at $659,957.58.
• The JSE Financial Index advanced by 0.10 points (0.12%) to close at 86.23 points and the volume traded amounted to 3,878,876 valued at $175,339,682.15.
• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 1.44 points (1.47%) to close at 99.29 points and the volume traded amounted to 14,715,255 valued at $67,963,866.09.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 98 stocks of which 53 advanced, 35 declined and 10 traded firm.
The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 204,562,868 units valued at $857,955,551.33. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 3,235,927 units valued at $55,292.16.
