In Thursday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE Indices:
• The JSE Index declined by 971.08 points (0.30%) to close at 322,099.07 points and the volume traded amounted to 9,945,485 valued at $87,264,667.91.
• The Junior Market Index declined by 9.51 points (0.25%) to close at 3,731.89 points and the volume traded amounted to 7,401,497 valued at $21,829,863.51.
• The JSE Combined Index declined by 994.07 points (0.30%) to close at 334,761.41 points and the volume traded amounted to 17,346,982 valued at $109,094,531.42.
• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 1,879.32 points (0.52%) to close at 357,059.58 points and the volume traded amounted to 9,561,241 valued at $86,336,794.16.
• The JSE Select Index declined by 50.43 points (0.63%) to close at 7,948.72 points and the volume traded amounted to 1,625,453 valued at $64,794,550.06.
• The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 1.27 points (0.52%) to close at 241.06 points and the volume traded amounted to 156,654 valued at $16,461.82.
• The JSE Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.75 points (1.39%) to close at 54.86 points and the volume traded amounted to 25 valued at $3,827.00.
• The JSE Financial Index declined by 0.58 points (0.83%) to close at 69.09 points and the volume traded amounted to 1,191,817 valued at $8,000,398.92.
• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.18 points (0.17%) to close at 103.31 points and the volume traded amounted to 6,571,482 valued at $83,665,007.06.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 100 stocks of which 37 advanced, 41 declined and 22 traded firm.
The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 17,346,982 units valued at $109,094,531.42. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 156,654 units valued at $16,461.82.
