JMMB Group hosts virtual financial empowerment series
JMMB GROUP will host the sixth edition of its financial empowerment series, JMMB Elevate, from today (Monday, January 22) to January 27 at 8 p.m., on its social media platforms (YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram). The financial empowerment series will feature a cadre of experts on its virtual stage including: Keisha Bailey, financial strategist and CEO of Profit Jumpstarter, and Anna Palomino, the ‘money coach’ and author. The other panelists include Demetress Fairman, financial education content creator, Stuart Stimpson, attorney-at-law and partner at Hart, Muirhead and Fatta, and Alicia Lyttle, CEO and co-founder of CEO of I nternet I ncome Jamaica.
The line-up will also feature JMMB experts i n the form of Michelle Sinclair-Doyley, manager, client partnership and education, Oshane McLeggon, financial solutions manager, Peter Thompson, chief client investment officer, and Shani Duncan-Falconer, senior corporate manager, SME Resource Centre.
Kerry-Ann Stimpson, chief marketing officer at JMMB Group, shared, “Although this year’s staging of JMMB Elevate will take a different format, the series maintains its objective of financial empowerment and inspiration and is chock-full of financial insight, practical pointers and seeks to give actionable takeaways.”
On day one Palomino and Sinclair-Doyley will talk about how to understand relationship with money and outline steps to create a winning mindset to achieve their goals.
On day two, Fairman, McLeggon, will share pointers on budgeting in hard times. Fairman outlined he is excited to be a part of this year’s line-up and will share insights from his own personal journey.
Attorney-at-law Stimpson will bring his expertise on day three, delving into the ‘ins and outs’ of real estate purchasing, to ensure buyers and investors make a solid investment.
Financial experts, Bailey and Thompson, will share investment opportunities that can help investors achieve their goals in a high interest rate environment and share a local economic outlook, which can give valuable insight for investing.
On the final day, January 27 at 10 a.m., Lyttle and Duncan-Falconer will talk on, ‘transitioning your side hustle to an established business’.
Speaking on the overall goals of the event, Stimpson said: “With the now all-virtual format more individuals from anywhere can participate, whether from the comfort of their homes or even as they balance their day. We have received the feedback over the years to broaden the reach of this series and this presents the perfect opportunity to better cater to individuals and their busy lifestyles who want to still be deliberate about goal attainment.”
