Many ways to donate to Sigma ‘Honour’ Run
KNOWN FOR turning the streets of New Kingston into a vibrant sea of runners, walkers, and wheelchair users for charity, plans are i n high gear for Sagicor Foundation’s Sigma ‘Honour’ Run, set for Sunday, February 18.
For this 26th year, the fundraising efforts will be used to support three institutions that play an important role in Jamaica’s healthcare and education sectors: The Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital, the National Chest Hospital and the Danny Williams School for the Deaf.
Committed to its $100-million fundraising target for its beneficiaries, Sagicor Foundation has extended an open invitation to everyone, whether novice runner or avid 5k road champion. With each person’s own donation, Sagicor Foundation said, they are becoming a vital part of “a legacy that touches lives and helps build a brighter future for the many families and communities that depend on the life-saving services of these institutions”.

Not a runner? No problem! If you are not able to physically join on the road on Race Day, you can still play your part and donate to the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run through a variety of channels. Here’s how:
Credit or debit card

Sagicor Bank credit card points
Members of the public who are holders of a Sagicor Bank credit card (business and individual) have the option to donate their credit card points by visiting sagicor. info. A minimum of 3,000 points is required to redeem. Offer valid from February 5-16, 2024.
Direct deposit
You can make a difference by donating via direct deposit to the Sagicor Foundation’s Business Savings account at Sagicor Bank, with number 5502907486.
American Friends of Jamaica Whether you are living at home or abroad, you can still donate via the American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) website using the ‘Donate Now’ button on the AFJ website, www.theafj.org, for credit card donations in the name ‘Sagicor Foundation – 2024 Sigma Run’ in the ‘Additional Information’ field
E-commerce platforms
Donations can be made via Sagicor Foundation’s e-commerce platform partnership with Gustazos at gustazos.com and Paypal.
