Puma ‘forever faster’ with JOA at Champs

-

THE ‘FOREVER faster’Puma will take on meteoric speed next month at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships (Champs) in a glitzy showing of the national gears for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and Arne Freundt, chairman of the management board of Puma and chief executive officer, is excited and exuding confidence that the Olympic show will be, in Jamaican parlance, a ‘sell off’.

Chairman and CEO Freundt said: “Together with the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), we will be revealing our Puma Jamaican Olympic kits during Champs, and I cannot wait to celebrate our truly special relationship at this amazing event. For me, there is no better moment for our Jamaican Olympic kit launch than the Boys and Girls’ Champs, where the future generations of athletes are competing at the highest level at the most popular track and field competition in Jamaica. I am very proud that the fastest brand, the fastest country and the fastest athletes have been partners for 23 years. During this time, we have written sports history together and set world records that are still unbroken, and I am looking forward to continuing this story at the Olympics this summer in Paris.”

This sport apparel and footwear global empire knows no other speed than ‘forever faster’ and its vision is at the apex with the JOA, which will partner with the international brand in Paris in celebrating Independence Day and JOA Day on August 6 and 7, respectively.

“It will be Olympism in action and so for Paris 2024, it’s forever faster in all sports for, as we say, it’s sport for all and all for sport,” Freundt said.

Paris and the glory of medals and records will be cemented in Olympic history and so, too, will be the innovative spirit of the JOA and Puma.
