JSE COMBINED MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE indices:
• The JSE Index advanced by 228.87 points (0.07 %) to close at 336,105.13 points and the volume traded amounted to 25,524,277 valued at $100,428,913.02.
• The Junior Market Index advanced by 14.44 points ( 0.37 %) to close at 3,874.71 points and the volume traded amounted to 23,801,250 valued at $60,697,242.88.
• The JSE Combined Index advanced by 341.07 points ( 0.10 %) to close at 349,147.70 points and the volume traded amounted to 49,325,527 valued at $161,126,155.90.
• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 1,486.05 points ( 0.40 %) to close at 376,632.95 points and the volume traded amounted to 25,467,443 valued at $100,206,270.92.
• The JSE Select Index advanced by 27.06 points ( 0.33 %) to close at 8,328.45 points and the volume traded amounted to 4,825,998 valued at $66,464,608.17.
• The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 3.04 points ( 1.17 %) to close at 263.51 points and the volume traded amounted to 21,861 valued at $7,611.89.
• The JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 0.86 points ( 1.53 %) to close at 55.23 points and the volume traded amounted to 339 valued at $29,503.50.
• The JSE Financial Index advanced by 0.07 points ( 0.10 %) to close at 71.90 points and the volume traded amounted to 1,616,911 valued at $50,737,654.81.
• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.15 points ( 0.14 %) to close at 106.42 points and the volume traded amounted to 20,932,239 valued at $72,005,315.21.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 112 stocks of which 49 advanced, 44 declined and 19 traded firm.
The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 49,325,527 units valued at $161,126,155.90. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 21,861 units valued at $7,611.89.
