Tough test for Holness – Political commentator warns JLP leader must‘ watch his back’ as internal tensions build

-

It’s normal for when a team gets a penalty for a few guys to argue about who should take it, sometimes even the coach sit back and let the players work it out and if needs be, then he steps in ... no worries. – @park_hagley

Before we run with think pieces, be reminded that right-wing political movements are easy to agree on their singular goal: keep power that the status quo remains. The PNP would be best served to stay in their lane and not look over there. – @gavinmyaz

The JLP has been a pretty stable party for at least the past 10-12 years, during that time, the usually stable PNP was very fractious and divided over the past 7 years. Looks like things are about to change. – @docpat10

This is sad! – @Spum

Me a go want uno lowe Mr Warmington. – @876__melanin

Let them stay over there and fight, a fi dem time now. Everybody drink red and white wine and laugh when a did PNP time. – @iam_murrii

Making a mountain out of a rock. – @greenblinker71

This article, as well as some of these comments, has no bearing on the strength or weaknesses of the JLP. This is a well-entrenched party, as reflected by a 49-14 majority in Parliament! “Time Come” for the PNP to explain how they are going to flip the required 19 seats in order to gain power in the next election! The results in the local government election did not suggest an orange wave as promised. – @gmaxprophoto

And because this political commentator says so that means it’s true? – @dale_edwards2

That’s just how it is in leadership. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. – @ruddock.peter

Leaders always have to watch our backs – nothing new we not here for power we here to build. – @ who_is_caspa
