OFFICE EQUIPMENT Sales & Service Ltd in Montego Bay is a name synonymous with the sale of office furniture, equipment and repairs, having been around for 50 years. Its founder, the late David Addison, was the epitome of an assiduous worker who prioritised excellent customer service and giving back to the society he served. He was instrumental and the driving force behind the company becoming a member of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce. Over the years, the company has paid its dues supporting charities in various fields.

Christopher, Marcia, Robert and Donna now operate this family-owned company. Christopher (aka Chippy), assumes the position of managing director and is a popular Montego Bay racing enthusiast whose sociable personality has done much to further cement the position of the company in a challenging market. Marcia and Robert are directors; Robert oversees the delivery of goods among other duties, and Donna, who resides overseas, assists by sourcing items not readily available in Jamaica.

Office Equipment Sales & Service has donated to several charities in St James including Green Pond Primary and Infant and Bogue Hill All-Age. A printer was donated to the Radiology Department of Cornwall Regional Hospital in 2010.

Entities outside of St James have also been touched by the generosity of the company; South East Regional Health and Bustamante Hospital for Children got fans and Retirement Sports and Social Club received books. An employee related how the late Mr Addison had regularly given financial support to an elderly, sick woman in Trelawny. She had a son living overseas who would also send money and, even when he failed to do so, Addison continued his generosity until she passed away.

Office Equipment Sales & Service Ltd continues to provide quality goods and service to its clients, and plans to continue doing so for many years to come.
