JSE COMBINED MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE indices:

• The JSE Index declined by 910.30 points (0.28%) to close at 327,260.10 points and the volume traded amounted to 25,385,635 valued at $76,122,712.70.

• The Junior Market Index declined by 41.11 points (1.08%) to close at 3,757.91 points and the volume traded amounted to 5,660,363 valued at $14,953,776.10.

• The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,213.73 points (0.36%) to close at 339,829.59 points and the volume traded amounted to 31,045,998 valued at $91,076,488.80.

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 803.27 points (0.22%) to close at 366,350.22 points and the volume traded amounted to 25,381,341 valued at $75,903,911.01.

• The JSE Select Index declined by 166.17 points (2.01%) to close at 8,081.39 points and the volume traded amounted to 2,047,429 valued at $24,961,681.16.

• The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 1.36 points (0.55%) to close at 249.03 points and the volume traded amounted to 29,463 valued at $5,112.05.

• The JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 0.35 points (0.64%) to close at 54.32 points and the volume traded amounted to 574 valued at $122,284.00.

• The JSE Financial Index declined by 0.44 points (0.63%) to close at 69.88 points and the volume traded amounted to 1,715,308 valued at $16,690,207.17.

• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index declined by 0.05 points (0.05%) to close at 103.60 points and the volume traded amounted to 3,620,814 valued at $23,845,828.47.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 106 stocks of which 45 advanced, 40 declined and 21 traded firm.

The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 31,045,998 units valued at $91,076,488.80. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 29,463 units valued at $5,112.05.
