St James man found with suspect papers
ASt James man, reportedly held with papers containing overseas contact information during a police raid at his home, will have his case mentioned on January 16 next year, in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court.
Twenty- six- year- old Ricardo Pusey, of a Bogue address in Montego Bay, and charged in connection with conducting fraudulent transactions, was given the return date when he appeared in court, as the prosecution’s case- file was incomplete.
Allegations are that, on August 24, at approximately 5: 30 a. m., a police team acting on information went to Pusey’s house and conducted a search of the dwelling.
During the search, three sheets of paper with overseas identification and contact information were found in a chestof- drawers, and Pusey was arrested.
“Is the file in a state of readiness?” Resident Magistrate Carolyn Tie asked Clerk of the Court Reginald England when the case was mentioned yesterday.
“The forensic certificate is still outstanding. We are asking for another two weeks ( to complete the file,” England replied.
RM Tie subsequently extended Pusey’s bail to January 16, 2014.
