WILL SEX CURE MY HEADACHES?

-

Dear Pastor, I am 17 years old, but I have never had sex. From I was 15 years old I have had headaches, and the guys used to say that was because I was a virgin.

Many of my female schoolmates told me that they were having sex. I started seeing my period late, but my sister saw her period when she was much younger.

I now have a boyfriend and he is 20 years old. He told me that if we have sex I wouldn’t suffer from headaches as I am doing now.

One day we went out and it got dark and he tried to force me to have sex and I told him I would bawl out. He wouldn’t stop so I bit him and ran.

He was trying to pull my pants down and wouldn’t stop. I have not gone anywhere with him again. He started to accuse me of having another boyfriend.

I don’t have another boyfriend, but I was not ready to have sex.

This guy’s father is a lawyer. I asked him how his father would feel if he should hear that his son tried to rape me.

We are still friends, but whenever I have headaches I don’t say anything to him because he would say it is because I am not having sex. Is it true that sex will cure my headaches?

P.T. Dear P.T., Men always try to persuade women to engage in sex with them by telling them it would cure headaches, stress and other illnesses that the girls are experiencing. That is far from the truth. A medical practitioner would be able to tell you what is causing your headaches. Do not allow this guy or any man to fool you. Tell them to get lost. You have the right to say no to a man. And if this guy loves you, he should respect you so much and not force you to do what you do not want to do.
