DSt Mary-born dancehall artiste Sustane knew he wanted a career in music from an early age.

After relocating to Kingston, he linked up with producer Donovan ‘Don Corleon’ Bennett and did some work with the famed producer.

He would later join the label’s flagship artiste Munga Honourable on tour overseas.

Now, Sustane is ready to take flight with his latest single We Bad. The song, produced by Black Pearl Haabah, is featured on the Dark Alley rhythm.

“I’ve been doing music for 10 years now. It was producer Don Corleon who helped me get my foot through the door when I did some work with him in 2008,” Sustane shared.

His first song was recorded 12 years ago for producer Shangul Records. But it was Bennett who gave him the opportunity to showcase his artistic creativity.

“Working with Don Corleon was like a dream come through. I learnt so much from him. Working with Don, you always have to be at your best. He’s a great producer and a no-nonsense person,” said Sustane.

“I got the chance to meet a lot of important people in the music business, both producers and promoters, local and international, and it allowed me to increase my fan base,” he added.

Sustane has recorded for producers such as Seanizzle, Jam 2, Kool Face, DJ Karim and Black Pearl, among others.
