Kenne Blessin wonders ‘If God Was Like Man’

After finding success abroad, Kenne Blessin is ready to make his mark on the local music scene. The versatile entertainer, whose music encompasses several genres, has enjoyed a thriving career in the eastern Caribbean for a number years. Despite that, he still wants recognition in his own country.

“I’ve been living and working abroad for many years, and it has paid off for me in a big way, but my number one desire is to make an impact with my music in Jamaica,” said the artiste.

The Kingston-born singer, who currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, recently released the video for his latest single, If God Was Like Man, on the Goldmine Production imprint.

“This song is getting a lot of buzz and with the video out we are expecting the buzz to grow even stronger,” he said.

Kenne Blessin and his management team will be in the island to promote the single and the video, and he is confident Jamaicans will love the song.

The singer began his career as a teenager in 1991 when he joined a group called Lions Den in Kingston.

He migrated to Antigua and Barbuda eight years later and won the Gem FM Caribbean Star Search talent competition.

After that, he recorded a soca song titled My Love.

The song, produced by Barbadian musician Da Bhann, was an instant hit in the eastern Caribbean and opened doors for him to tour most of the region.
