Sandz partners with Jamaica Carnival

-

One of the Caribbean’s hottest beach parties, Sandz, will be on the road with the rebirth of Byron Lee’s brainchild, Jamaica Carnival, come Carnival on Sunday on April 23.

For the past three years, the Sandz brand has grown and received overwhelming support from fun-loving Jamaicans.

The last staging was held on January 1 at the White Oasis, 7th Harbour Palisadoes, with over 8,000 patrons in attendance.

Known for its unique brand of entertainment, decor and excitement, the Sandz team will be taking the same energy on the road.

“We decided to jump at the opportunity to work with Jamaica Carnival, seeing that is an entity we grew up watching. I’ve always admired the work of the late great Byron Lee; he was a phenomenal musician and entrepreneur. It was really a priv- ilege for my team to get our Supreme Team and the Sandz brand out to Jamaica and the world,” said Carlton Davy, director of Supreme Events.

Davy said they will be bringing the same Sandz Ultimate Beach chill vibe to Jamaica Carnival.

“We’re known for beach events, but it will be easy to bridge the gap and still bring the vibe from the beach on to the road which will involve our Sandz pit concept,” Davy added.

Jamaica Carnival is offering five carnival attire options ranging from US$95 to US$285.

Jamaica Carnival will be launching a series of blowout events in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and St Elizabeth, leading up to the big road march.

The first event will be the press launch, set for January 17. The band launch is on January 28.
